Chief Keef In Police Custody After Violating Probation
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, controversial teen rapper Chief Keef has been taken into police custody.
A judge has ruled that the Chicago emcee violated his probation.
Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, had been on probation for pointing a gun at Chicago Police officers. Late last year, he released a new album “Finally Rich” to mixed reviews.
The rapper, and website Pitchfork Media, have been under fire since they collaborated on an interview filmed at a gun range.
As part of his probation, Keef was not permitted to be in the possession of a firearm.
